Reifen Koch Tunes the Audi RS6 to 700HP and 330km/h [205mph]

Even though the standard production version of the Audi RS6 is powerful enough as is for most drivers with its 580HP V10, tuners of all sorts are jumping on the bandwagon lately. German firm Reifen Koch has just released a new performance package for the RS6 comprising of engine mods and new alloy wheels.

The engine kit includes a recalibrated ECU, a sports filter and a custom made exhaust system that boosts the V10's output from 580HP and 650Nm to 700 horsepower and 790Nm or 583.7 lb-ft of peak torque, allowing the RS6 to reach a top speed of 330km/h or 205mph.

The package is rounded off with a new set of 22-inch lightweight alloy wheels from Schmidt with high speed tires in size 265/30 22 all around.

MTM Creates An Audi RS6 Clubsport With 730 Horsepower

MTM recently took the wraps off of its latest Audi tuning job, the RS6 Clubsport package.

The already-quite-speedy RS6 gets some new aero work (front lip and rear diffuser in carbon fiber) and new independently adjustable springs.

Other external goodies include black 21-inch wheels, black tips on the new stainless steel exhaust system, and that...unique...color treatment.

Inside, there's a roll cage and carbon fiber-backed Recaros with six-point harnesses.

Performance for the bi-turbo 5.0 liter V10 gets a kick in the pants thanks to improved breathing (intake filters and the aforementioned exhaust system) and ECU tuning, resulting in a huge 730 horsepower (537 kW) and 579 lb-ft (785 Nm) of torque.

Top speed of the RS6 CS varies depending on which tires are chosen. It can be raised to something mild, like 173 mph (279 km/h), or buyers can go extreme, with a V-max of 211 mph (340 km/h).

As for me, I'd keep the orange and the decals and pass on the three-tone paint scheme. Either way, the result is an even meaner brute with a (currently) questionable paint job.

Just to end on a positive note: I love the license plate.

APS Sportec Launches 700HP Tuning Package for Audi RS6 V10

Impressive as the 572HP and 479lb.ft of torque produced by the Audi RS6's twin-turbocharged V10 engine may sound, there's always room for improvement. APS, the UK importer of the Swiss tuning brand Sportec, has launched two upgrade packages for the sedan and station-wagon (Avant) variants of the RS6.

The first stage adds a remapped ECU boosting output to 650-horsepower at 6,300 rpm, coupled to 540lb.ft (740Nm) of torque between 2500-4,000 rpm. With this kit, the APS Sportec-prepped RS6 reaches 62mph (100km/h) in 4.4 seconds, while top speed is limited to 190mph or 305 km/h.

The Sportec Stage One upgrade is priced at £2800, equal to US$4,262 or €3,165 at today's exchange rates.

For those with spicier tastes, APS Sportec offers the Stage Two conversion that consists of a reprogrammed ECU, complete with performance optimization of fuelling, ignition and boost parameters, in parallel with the fitment of emissions compliant sports catalysts.

The result is 700-horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 584lb.ft (800Nm) between 3,000-6,200 rpm, which translates to a 0-62mph (100km/h) sprint time of 4.2 seconds and a limited top speed of 190mph or 305 km/h (same as the Stage One package).

The Sportec Stage Two package is priced at £6500 Including fitting and VAT @ 17.5% (US$4,850 or €7,345).

APS added that a full range of Sportec Audi RS6 enhancements, including alloy wheels, braking and suspension packages, will be launched over the coming months.
